Luxury Abu Camp is located with its private concession of about 180,000 hectare (450,000 acre),within the the largest inland delta on the planet,the Okavango Delta.The area that surrounds Abu Camp in the northern part of Botswana contains more density of elephants that any other Safari location in Africa.

Abu Camp is situated under the shade of a magnificent grove of ancient hardwood trees on the edge of a large lagoon.

Its a small intimate  camp with only 6 Luxury  suites

Each suite  has:

  • Indoor and outdoor shower.
  • Separate seating area with a writing desk
  • Elevated wooden deck built around the ancient trees

At Abu Camp,each rooms furnishings and fittings,are different, chosen for that room alone.

The  main public area at the  camp has been designed to coordinate with the rooms.Homeware, hand-woven linen fabrics, ceramic light pods, woven seagrass chairs and hand-hewn wooden pieces give the camp the elegant flair of the Okavango Delta.

For those wanting to experience nature in a more personal way,Abu Camp offers a sleep out under the stars experience.

You are escorted to the large double bed after dinner.Elevated above the ground,you sleep under a canopy of African stars,and the sounds of the rumblings of the elephants.

bathroom,complete with a open shower is available on the level below the sleep out  deck
