Kruger National Park Walking Safari

This 24000 hectares private Concession is located in the northern section of the Kruger National Park.It has 2 Rivers as it boundaries ie the Limpopo River in the north and to the east, and the Luvuvhu River in the south.

Being a private concession, only the game drive vehicles that belonging to the three operators, operate on the dirt roads, which adds to the feeling of this wilderness and remote area.

This is one of a handful of  true wilderness areas in South Africa. The Makuleke area is well known for its diversity and the scenery.

This area hosts  large herds of Elephant and Buffalo, with a range of  antelope ie Nyala,Eland,Kudu, and Zebra. These in turn support a variety of predators.

This area  is known for its bird life, all year round, with over 350 species being identified thus far.

After the morning walk, you will enjoy a English Breakfast.Thereafter its time to relax, maybe by the pool,or treat yourself to a some quite time. This is followed lunch and then its time for the afternoon activity.

The Afternoon walks/game drives usually end up at the scenic view points to watch a Africa  sunset.

The evening Safari  drive back to the lodge is a traditional night drive, a sits to dangerous to walk in the dark. With a spotlight to try spot the  nocturnal nightlife,we will take  a leisurely drive back to the Lodge/camp.

If you are staying at the lode, dinner is usually served on the pool deck which is lit only by lamp light.

Located on a bend in the Luvuvhu River, the Pafuri Camp Lodge can provide the lodging/meals on this trail.Alternatively,we set up a en suite tented camp.

The morning Safari walks begin at sunrise so we can be done before it gets to hot, while the afternoon walks end with a sundowner,as you watch a African sun set, with the sounds of the Africa Bush to keep you company.
