Dear Stephen,
What a fabulous safari experience along with excellent Cape Town tours! Your attention to detail and knowledgable suggestions made all the difference.

Phinda was the perfect game reserve for our expectations and they delivered it down to a rare Back Rhino sighting. We appreciated the professional tour guides and hotel recommendations you arranged as well.

Best Regards,

Pam and Tim Chanter

Hi Stephen,

Everything the last two days was most interesting and enjoyable aside from facing the brutal reality of the Township, yet we were glad to have experienced it.

The Apartheid museum helped put it all in perspective and I read Martin’s book called “Children of Apartheid” on the plane home. We missed Robbens Island due to the ferry delays, but we had a great afternoon just wondering the V&A waterfront.

We could have spend more time in the wine country had we had the time, but Tim wanted to keep the trip to two weeks.

Martin and Jimmy both were terrific. The only thing I would change is to go straight to Phinda, since it is such a beautiful place and thus skip Richards Bay. We were not in a place we could go outside of the Richard’s Bay hotel there as it was not safe nor near the water. My husband liked Phinda so much that he skipped one morning’s animal drive to stay behind and just enjoy and relax.

I did add your name and web site to my Facebook posts. The flight home seemed endless, but we would do it again because the trip was so memorable

Hi Stephen,

I spoke with Tim to get his reflections for you. He agreed with me that it was all nearly perfect and a fabulous trip. The guides were great and we enjoyed everything.

He did wonder if we had stayed in the Protea Waterfront hotel in Richards Bay lieu of the inland Richards Bay Protea hotel, that we might have found a better reason to stay one night in this town rather in lieu of my suggestion to go straight to Phinda.

Your idea to rest there is good given the long flight and then early morning animal drives, but we were not near anything (unsafe to walk there) nor did we have a view of the bay, so it was sort of a nonplus. However, the hotel was nice and staff very gracious.
